It's going to take me a while to hit the £100 worth of content compared to if I bought the game and all DLCs, and that's just this one game. So with this, I just pay a month (immediately cancel so it doesn't renew), then play for a few weeks like mad and after 3/4 months I'll come back and pay the £13 again to pick up where I left off. ![]() I have ADHD so I rarely play games for months at a time I obsess madly over them for maximum 3 weeks then I'm bored and move on. First week is also free so you can cancel if you don't enjoy it and play the game for free for the next 7 days. Instead I pay for Ubisoft Plus which includes the base game and all playable DLC (some cosmetic not included) for like £13 a month (rolling 30 day). I never bought the game but played the last year or so. I always see this and I think people are sleeping on Ubisoft Plus so bad. That's a lot of content, and would be like several playthroughs before I'd feel ready to use it all. The complete edition (everything that has been released) is also on sale, 40% off for £60. I would recommend starting with season 1 and then working along. If you end up liking it, even one of the DLCs is worth it, they bring a lot of content, and so feel worth it. You aren't forced to incorporate every feature into you play through, but they are there if you want (trading, diplomacy, expeditions, museum and zoo) There is a lot of content in it, but what I think it does really well is that very few parts are critical. Overall I really really like it, it is so good. The campaign is pretty good, if anything just to teach you the game. The gameplay is easy to understand, but can be as complex or challenging as you want. There are few other games that would compete. It's is such a visually striking and gorgeous game. The standard edition is on sale right now for £16.50 on Ubisoft Connect. There is a lot packed into it that you can certainly have a lot of fun with.
